3CR Mural Consultation ... come along!

3CR is getting closer to finalising the design of the new mural on the outside of its building at 21 Smith Street Fitzroy.

Local artists Bindi Cole, Tom Civil and Reko Rennie (artwork opposite) will begin work on 15 February.

Come to the second phase of our community consultation to share your ideas and thoughts on the draft mural design.

Indigenous Freedom Fighters Commemorated

On 20 January 1842 Tunnerminnerwait and Maulboyheenner - two Indigenous freedom fighters - were executed on the corner of Bowen and Franklin Streets in Melbourne. A quarter of Victoria's white population came in carnival mood to see the killings.

Are you young, Indigenous and looking for an exciting community art project to be involved in this Summer? 3CR's Mural Project is currently seeking up to 10 young Indigenous people to be involved in the design and creation of a mural across the front and side of the building.
