We took on Coke!

Coca cola's pollution & Tribute for forests Activists

Today we will chat about environment, about coke, recycling and direct action. At 5am last Wednesday Laura from Greenpeace got into climbing gear and headed for Kings Cross in Sydney. Alongside six fellow volunteers, their plan was to drop a three-storey banner down one of the biggest billboards in Sydney, Coke’s mega-sign. I decided to get in touch to my friend Laura after I received an astonishing email from greenpeace telling the story and calling for support. TAKE ACTION NOW. It’s getting cold and wet, the forest is now muddy and our dear activists who protects our wildlife need our help and support more than ever. From Maules creek to East Gippsland, from Toolangui to Tasmania groups like FLAC, GECO, the knitting Nana’s and many individuals are still fighting on the front line this broken system. From all around the world, Indonesia, Africa, Canada and South America, Australia and France Forest Activists have no rest. Today I would like to pay a tribute to all of them. My friends in France restarted the battle against the construction of a useless airport in Nantes. Listen the story of French forest Activists, see action here! peace, Colin
