Georgia Savage is the General Manager of the Community Grocer which was established in 2014 and runs weekly affordable fresh food markets. There are community grocers in Fitzroy, Pakenham and Carlton and, as of 20 April 24, in Flemington. In this episode we discuss Georgia's experience in not-for-profits that support local food systems as well as the role of The Community Grocer in giving people access not only to affordable healthy and quality produce, but a sense of community and belonging.
