Katharine was elected in 2024, and is Deputy Chair of Leadwest, an advocacy alliance comprising the western metropolitan municipalities of Brimbank, Hobsons Bay, Maribyrnong, Melton and Wyndham, and Co-chair of the Brimbank Youth Council. Katharine talks about a joint campaign amongst Brimbank's councillors to advocate for rail to Melbourne Airport before the construction of a third runway, which was announced last year.
