Action for More Independence and Dignity in Accommodation
Voice at the Table promotes the unique voice of lived experience by sharing real stories by people with a cognitive disability for people with a cognitive disability. The show will explore real experiences of advocacy that empowers others to learn, grow and advocate.
Voice at the Table seeks to advocate and agitate for social transformation, endeavouring for inclusion for all where people with a disability can truly be heard at all levels of consumer participation.
Two core beliefs of Voice at the Table are “nothing about us without us”, and “you can’t be what you can’t see”. Through our storytelling the voices of people with a cognitive disability can be heard, and their real stories can be told.
