Liz Stringer recorded the introductions for her 6th album First Time Really Feeling earlier in 2021 for an episode of And This One's Introduced by... on Planet X.
Released by Milk Records it's an album about growing up, inner turmoil, introspection and metamorphosis and been acknowledged as a classic.
Now on And This One's Introduced By... we have an opportunity to hear the album complete with Liz's insights about how she came to write each song.
Liz Stringer has grown into a world class artist with this album, it was recorded at Toronto’s Union Sound Company and produced and engineered by Chris Stringer (no relation to Liz, and known for his work with Timber Timbre and the Rheostatics). The album will no doubt be regarded as Stringer’s seminal work and her most searingly personal: a musical time-capsule of love, loss and legacy, profound change and her recent path to self-acceptance.
With it's personal songs about her inner demons and struggles with alcohol, Liz Stringer bares her soul and created her tour de force.
