The Green Mist are an Australian band put together by musician Julien Poulson. Julien is a busy and talented artist as guitarist in 90’s grunge rockers Moler, and forming the legendary Cambodian Space Project after meeting a beautiful young Cambodian  waitress Channthy Kak who was singing in a Phnom Penh karaoke bar.

Never short of ideas, Julien while on a sabbatical in his native state Tasmania, a chance meeting with Violent Femmes bass player Brian Richie. The two started collaborating and The Green Mist began to form. Charlie Owen, Rosie Westbrook,Tracy Redhead and Spencer P. Jones were enlisted to provide their considerable talents to record Next Stop Antartctica. The value of the album was appreciated by Bang Records in Spain who released it in 2007.
