Australian-born Penny Ikinger is a world renowned guitar ace, singer and songwriter, with an international reputation for her solo work starting out as a member of The Wet Taxis, collaborating with keyboard legend Louis Tillett, supporting  Nico on her Australian tour in 1986. Penny also played with the legendary kings of Melbourne rock The Sacred Cowboys and contributed her unique guitar riffs to Kim Salmon's Surrealists and Tex Perkins albums.

She's since carved out a solo career releasing acclaimed albums Tokyo, Electra, and Penelope in 2010.

2023 sees the release of a new album Travels & Travails, a record that explores and documents her collaborations with musicians from France, Japan, North America and Australia over her career as a solo artist.The album includes both live and studio recordings previously unheard, while others are re-workings of songs from earlier works, poetry set to music and interesting soundscapes.
