Daney Faddoul is Campaign Manager for Human Rights Law Centre and joins us to share findings from their most recent report ‘The Right To Housing In Australia’, developed in conjunction with the University of Technology Sydney. The report released on Monday this week validates urgent calls from community and experts alike that the right to safe and secure housing in so-called Australia should be enshrined in law. Including a right to housing in the Australian Human Rights Act is a step towards creating fairer, safer and more affordable people-centred policies. Read the full report here.//
