In this episode we continue to speak with members from the FIGJAM collective ‘Formerly Incarcerated Girls, Justice Advocates Melbourne’a group engaging in research, policy reform and presenting across different issues pertaining to criminalised women across the sector. FIGJAM advocatessharing their lived expertise to create change and provide education and awareness informing community on the impacts and barriers criminalised people face. We hear from FIGJAM members Kelly who was willing to share her experience, Cathy FIGJAM who also works as a Lived Experience Peer Group Facilitator at Women and Mentoringand Staceywho worksin Peer Leadership in Prisons. We also hear from lived experience women from Seeds of Affinity Suzie and Hayley.
