Faith and Val are joined in the studio this Monday morning by Col Bell of Fields of Joy Cyclocross. Everyone shares their bike moments before we take a look at some news, including the start of this year's Indian Pacific Wheel Ride on the weekend and the launch of Swisse Australia's salary sacrificing Ride to Work scheme. (Not the first scheme in Australia as many are reporting, just the first in the private sector).
Val and Faith's timing is all out of whack today but we finally stumble around to our studio guest Col to hear all about the new venue for FOJCX at the Broadford State Motorcycle Sports Complex. Col is pretty excited about the potential at this venue and the potential for not only cyclocross but other cycling sports and a great new partnership. With a huge area designed to be used specifically for sports Broadford not only provides the space to host great challenging CX courses but means energy can be freed from desk work and poured into the racing. Did we mention there's camping? How good is that!
We finish up with minutes to spare since Faith lost the ability to read a clock. Its a great time to subscribe to 3CR Community Radio and back public radio.
