This is the first of a two-part conversation with certified organic and biodynamic farmers Robin Koster-Carlyon and Peter Carlyon. Robyn and Peter created the beautiful, productive Transition Farm in Fingal on the southern part of the Mornington Peninsula. With previously hydrophobic, unproductive soil that has been carefully built and nurtured since 2007, the business has transitioned from supplying boxes of organic fruit and vegetables for the local community to producing high quality non-GMO seeds.
